Maybe we could peacefully democratize our "political systems of government"?
John Mulkins is a multifaceted artist, musician/composer, and democracy advocate. He is the creator of The Amphibians, a virtual band featuring a diverse group of musicians from around the world. Through remote collaboration, each artist contributes their unique sound to songs from the album A World of Intentions, creating a vibrant, global tapestry of music.
John also hosts the podcast Peaceful Political Revolution in America, a thoughtful exploration of democracy’s rise in the New World. His podcast delves into democracy's origins, its evolution over centuries, and the possibilities for its future improvement in the United States. Alongside his musical and artistic pursuits, John has dedicated himself to an informal study of the U.S. Constitution and the historical figures behind its creation.
He believes that America's current political system falls short of true democracy and that Americans have the right—and the responsibility—to address these shortcomings collectively. His work asks a crucial question: Will the peaceful political revolution of 1877 be our last?
